User Manual: Galaxian - Ultimate Evolution

Welcome to Galaxian: Ultimate Evolution, a modern tribute to the classic arcade shooter, enhanced with Smart AI, mobile-friendly controls, and progressive challenges.

1. Getting Started

• Launch: Open index.html in any modern web browser.
• Initialization:
  • On PC: Click anywhere on the screen to start.
  • On Mobile: Tap the screen to start. The game will automatically detect your device and enable [AUTO] Mode.

2. Controls

PC (Keyboard & Mouse)

• Left/Right Arrows: Move your fighter.
• Spacebar: Manual fire.
• Mouse Click: Toggle Mute (🔊/🔇) or AI Mode ([AUTO]/[MANU]) via UI buttons.

Mobile (Touchscreen)

• Auto-Pilot: By default, the AI handles movement and shooting.
• Manual Override (Movement): Press and slide your finger left or right. The fighter will follow your finger. Release to let the AI take over again.
• Manual Fire: Tap the screen at any time to fire extra bullets.

3. Game Features

Smart AI Tactical System

• Auto-Evasion: The AI calculates the trajectory of incoming bullets and diving enemies to move the fighter out of harm's way.
• Auto-Targeting: The AI prioritizes "Diving" enemies to ensure safety before clearing the rest of the formation.

Progression & Rewards

• Leveling Up: Every time you clear a wave, the game speed increases, and the background environment changes (SCENE.jpg → SCENE2.jpg → SCENE3.jpg).
• Extra Lives: You gain one extra fighter per level cleared (Maximum capacity: 4 fighters).

Elite Enemies & Power-ups

• The Boss (Purple UFO): Starting from Level 2, a high-HP (5 hits) elite enemy will appear in the top row.
• Triple Ammo: Destroying the Boss grants you 33 rounds of Triple-Shot Ammo, allowing you to fire in a spreading pattern.

4. On-Screen Display (UI)

• SCORE: Your current points.
• LEVEL: The current stage number.
• TRIPLE: Remaining count of spreading bullets (if active).
• 🔊 / 🔇: Click/Tap to toggle sound effects.
• [AUTO] / [MANU]: Indicates if the AI is currently controlling the fighter.
